History of Pelcher's Shooters Supply

Pelcher's was founded in the Village of Lansing Illinois in 1975 by Larry Pelcher. Mr. Pelcher, a sportsman and outdoorsman, began his experience with shooting sports at an early age. When he was six years old his father purchased him a .410 gauge shotgun. Larry used to stand on to top of the trap house and shoot trap targets. After many years of practice he had become a skilled and recognized shooter and in 1968 he was selected to participate on the US Olympic trap team. After turning down the US Army for a position as instructor Larry decided to pursue other interests in law enforcement.

In 1975 Larry became an officer with the Lansing Police Department where he is also a shooting instructor.
